ROY BELLOWS studied art with Warren Hunter in San Antonio, Texas.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Chicago in 1966.
He learned blacksmithing from Frank Turley in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1974.
He apprenticed with Toni Benetton and did advanced study at the Accademia Internazionale del Ferro in
Mogliano Veneto, Italy in 1981.

His ironwork is found in numerous private and public collections throughout the United States and in Mexico.

He has custom-made meteorite rings since 1980.

Roy Bellows is a member of the Artist-Blacksmiths’s Association of North America (ABANA) and the METEORITICAL SOCIETY.
